FAQs

  • How long will my ban last?
The maximum ban duration is 2 years. If you hacked or cheated, it is unlikely you will receive anything but the maximum 2 years. If we believe you have attacked the server (eg. DDoS), this is increased to 4 years. Any other bans are usually much shorter, and proportional to the importance of the rule broken. Regardless of the ban length, you should still make an appeal when enough time has passed as most bans do not expire and have to be removed manually.
  • My friend/brother/sister/father/mother/grandparents/uncle/aunt/son/daughter hacked on my PC. Can I get unbanned?
No. You're responsible for what happens on your PC. If you don't want to get banned, make sure you trust everyone who uses your PC. Otherwise, don't let them use it.
  • I only had a car mod, that's not a hack. Why was I banned?
Any mod that gives you an advantage will, depending on the advantage, get you banned instantly or kicked first then banned if you rejoin without removing it. Not knowing that some car mods give you an advantage is no excuse.
  • What is ban evading?
Ban evading is when an admin is sure you're a banned player trying to play under a different (or, in some cases with particularly clever players, the same) name. Repeated and deliberate ban evading can result in a greatly increased ban duration, regardless of what the original ban was for.
  • Will including a screenshot of my GTA folder help me prove my innocence?
These are not considered evidence of anything except your ability to take (or photoshop) a screenshot of a clean GTA folder, so there is no point including them.
  • My ban appeal was wrongly rejected. Should I make another?
Unless you have more information to add, this will only waste your own time and ours, and may get you banned from the forum too.
  • Does a ban here mean I'm banned on that other server you own?
No, we have separate ban lists.

How to create an unban request

When creating an unban request, name the topic with your in-game name and include as many of the following as possible:

  • IP address at time of banning (you don't need to include the last section eg. for 123.123.123.123 you can post your IP as 123.123.123.XXX). If you don't know your IP go to http://whatismyip.com and it should tell you the right one unless you access the internet via a proxy
  • Admin who banned you
  • Reason given by the admin for your banning
  • Reason(s) why we should unban you

Example
Quote from: Jacob
  • [FCUK]Killer
  • 69.283.223.xxx
  • Rac3r
  • "Speed hacking!"
  • I didn't hack, there's a shortcut no one knows in that map

Following these instructions is recommended as it will speed up the unban process, but not mandatory.
